I'M ERIKA, THE GIRL BEHIND THE LENS CAPTURING ALL THE LOVE, LAUGHTER, AND MEMORIES IN BETWEEN.

hi friend,

i'm glad you're here

A little about me... I'm an outdoor enthusiast and fun-loving mom to my sweet son, Oliver James, and our four-legged English Labrador, Gus. Photography has quickly become my greatest passion and biggest blessing. I truly believe I have the best job in the world—getting to connect with people and capture meaningful moments that last a lifetime.

Whether it’s a large wedding, an intimate elopement, or a special milestone like maternity or a family session, I feel honored to be part of your story. I especially love photographing my clients in the incredible natural settings we’re lucky to call home here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

If you're looking for a photographer to help preserve a special moment or celebrate a big life chapter, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s make some magic—and have some fun while we're at it!

Warmly,

Erika

MY PASSIONS

MY PHILOSOPHY

Photography can sometimes get a bad rap, mostly based on outdated norms. I believe that your experience with me should be enjoyable - after all, we're capturing YOUR amazing memories. The last 6 years have taught me that creating an authentic atmosphere will lend itself to the most amazing results. I pride myself in building friendships with my clients, providing important insight to a couple in preparation of wedding day, and even finding calm within the chaos of a family shoot. Every session is an opportunity to connect and I'm here for it all!

Where do I begin...:) Loving my family. Living a mission-based life. Spending time in nature. Pushing myself outside my comfort zone even when it scares me. Investing in friendships who become family. Enjoying an oatmilk latte, especially on a crisp fall day. Traveling solo. Laughing so hard that my cheeks hurt. Connecting with people on an emotional level. Petting all the dogs. Setting a new goal and reaching it. Enjoying taco Tuesdays with friends. Walking the Oregon Coast at sunset and last but certainly not least, finding peace in the messy adventure we call life.

MY GOALS

While in my 30's, a dear friend challenged me to make a '30 things to do in my 30's' list. Fast-forward a decade and I'm still hooked on this concept. I believe setting goals, trying new things, and challenging oneself never goes out of style. A few things on my horizon are:

  • Shoot in more national parks

  • Complete a triathlon

  • Hike a section of the Pacific Crest Trail

  • Join a book club

  • Visit Iceland, Portugal or Peru

  • Take my mom to Kauai for her 70th!

are we a match?
