Columbia Gorge Senior Session

Truth be told, I was extra excited to shoot Meredith’s senior session at Rowena Crest. Meredith is the daughter of my partner’s best friend, making her basically family to us — which made this shoot extra meaningful. She made the trek all the way from Bend for her Columbia River Gorge senior session, and the stunning views did not disappoint.

Rowena Crest is one of the most breathtaking spots in the Pacific Northwest. The sweeping cliffs, winding roads, and golden hills overlooking the Columbia River create the most incredible backdrop for senior portraits. Whether it’s the soft glow of golden hour or the dramatic skies the Gorge is known for, this location offers something magical every time. At only about 90 minutes from Portland, it’s become one of my go-to spots for seniors and couples looking for that signature PNW beauty.

Meredith was an absolute joy to photograph — incredibly sweet, wickedly smart, and full of great energy. She brought a mix of effortless style and natural grace that made my job as a photographer so easy. Honestly, the hardest part was narrowing down the keepers.
